Adecco US, Inc. Processing Claims Specialist in Orlando, Florida

Adecco is currently assisting a great client in their search for an experienced Processing Claims Specialist who is an expert in MS Excel .

Type: 40hrs/wk. Temp to Perm

Start Date: Within two to three weeks.

Pay: $16.00 to $ 16.00

Length: Temp to Hire for the right person.

Hours : Mon-Fri 8:00am-5:00pm EST

PLEASE NOTE Proficient in MS Excel (required). This role is flexible, not in office, but must work EST hours.

Responsibilities for the Processing Claims Specialist role include:

  • Identify policy type (ex: home, flood, wind) and determine appropriate action needed.

  • Make appropriate updates to client database to meet regulatory obligations.

  • Make timely premium payments from established escrow accounts to ensure continuous coverage.

  • Manage time to handle multiple demands and competing priorities.

  • Meet deadlines and quality standards.

  • Communicate and coordinate with insurance agents and/or insurance carriers to verify information, update status, and meet deadlines/requirements.

  • Address any questions, concerns, or suggestions in a timely and appropriate manner.

  • Communicate status updates and appropriately escalate issues and opportunities to meet the needs of clients and homeowners.

Qualifications for this Processing Claims Specialist role:

  • Completed High School Diploma or GED.

  • Must have excellent attendance.

  • Must be proficient in MS Excel.

  • Excellent data entry skills.

  • Previous history working with claims processing.

  • Demonstrate empathy regarding your work and the impact it has on the homeowner.

  • Comfortable working under fast deadlines with a strong sense of accuracy.

  • Must be able to train and work Eastern Standard Time shift hours.

Pay Details: $16.00 per hour
