Lockheed Martin RF/DSP System Engineer - Early Career - Orlando, FL in Orlando, Florida

Description: Lockheed Martin is seeking a RF/DSP Systems Engineer with RF design, analysis, and test experience. The RF Systems Engineer will generate modeling/simulations for advanced control systems, build and test prototype hardware in the lab, and collaborate with a larger team for flight hardware configurations. Specific duties may include assisting engineers with antenna modeling, RF/DSP System modeling and requirements development. The individual will work closely with systems and design engineers to identify key RF hardware requirements which meet mission needs and will construct models for simulation.

The DSP engineer (digital signal processing engineer) is dedicated to developing algorithms for signal processing in the broad sense. He works on projects in the fields of telecommunications, audio, video, space domain, medical imaging, etc

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in a related engineering discipline.

Candidate must demonstrate the ability to perform some combination of the following Systems RF/DSP and Radar Design and Analysis assignments:

Demonstrate a strong fundamental understanding of digital signal processing and associated performance modeling.

Develop RF/DSP systems (radar related systems and subsystems) to include design, integration, test, and performance evaluation.

Assist in the flow down of RF/DSP requirements to testable modular hardware and software.

Demonstrate mastery of simulation and analysis tools. (MATLAB).

Demonstrate the ability and/or knowledge to program in C/C++.

Support trade studies, presentations, proposals and related activities.

Desired Skills:

Simulink experience is of significant benefit.

Strong programming skills that can translate to C++ development in a Linux environment

A strong sense of curiosity and an innovative spirit

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
