Cole Engineering Services, Inc. Senior Scheduler in Orlando, Florida

VETERAN'S PREFERENCE

Responsibilities include:

  • Interface with the Government, customers, program personnel, stakeholders, program management, and senior technical personnel to obtain information to develop and maintain an integrated master schedule of all training events.
  • Monitor schedules, report performance, highlight potential issues, and assist with developing courses of action to mitigate issues.
  • Maintain a high-level calendar to track and display upcoming program reviews, milestone decisions, and deliverables.
  • Create, revise and update the dashboard overview of all program document status weekly, monthly and annually.
  • Assist project teams to coordinate, schedule, and facilitate daily project team meetings, weekly meetings with the Government, and weekly to monthly meetings with customers and other project stakeholders.

Education

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or an Engineering discipline preferred, work related experience can be substituted for degree.
  • 8+ years of related job experience in working on government DoD programs.

Knowledge/Skill Requirements:

  • Extensive experience working in an Agile environment using Jira and Confluence
  • Extensive experience developing and maintaining schedules and status reporting using Jira and Confluence to also include linking the schedules to Sprints and automating graphical reports
  • Strong MS Office experience
  • Ability to generate schedules for training events and integrate them into the master schedule
  • Ability to generate courses of action and demonstrate how they mitigate issues
  • Ability to develop graphical depictions of schedule status of the training events
  • Ability to develop professional briefings suitable for high-level military and Government personnel
  • Must have good presentation, communication, and training skills.
  • Must have good analytical skills and work well in teams.
  • Must have good organizational skills and ability to coordinate multiple activities effectively.
  • Must be self-motivated and have the ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • CompTIA Security+ certification (or other DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification) or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire date.

Preferred Experience/Qualifications:

  • PMI Certification (e.g., PMI-SP, CAPM, PMP)
  • Experience with the Joint Exercise Life Cycle (JELC)

Special Requirements/Security Clearance:

  • TS/SCI clearance is required.

Other Requirements:Please note that pursuant to a government contract, this specific position requires U. S. Citizenship status with ability to maintain a TS/SCI security clearance. Security Clearance requirements will be specified in the Government's Task Order.
