The Work
We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Solution Architect to join our team, supporting the implementation of enterprise logistics solutions for the United States Navy. As a Solution Architect, you will play a key leadership role in designing and implementing comprehensive solutions that integrate Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS) Enterprise Asset Management (EAM), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), and Supply Chain Management (SCM) software to help meet the Navy's logistics and supply chain needs.
As a key member of our Solution Architect team you will:
• Lead the design and implementation of enterprise logistics solutions, including COTS EAM, ERP, and SCM software, to support the Navy's logistics and supply chain operations
• Collaborate with Navy stakeholders to gather business requirements and develop solutions that meet their needs
• Develop and maintain technical architectures, design documents, and technical notes for integrated logistics management solutions
• Lead technical teams, including developers, integrators, and testers, to ensure successful implementation of solutions
• Ensure solutions are aligned with industry best practices, Navy regulations, and technical standards
• Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to ensure solutions meet Navy cybersecurity requirements
• Develop and deliver technical presentations, briefings, and demonstrations to Navy stakeholders
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior team members
• Work closely with project managers to ensure solutions are delivered on time, within budget, and to the desired quality standards

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Minimum 8 years of experience in designing and implementing enterprise logistics management solutions, including EAM, ERP, and SCM software, preferably in the aerospace and defense industry
• Experience with COTS EAM, ERP, and SCM software, such as IBM Maximo, Oracle Enterprise Asset Management, SAP ERP, and IFS Cloud
• Strong knowledge of IT service management frameworks, such as ITIL
• Experience with data analytics and reporting tools, including data visualization and business intelligence platforms
• Strong technical leadership and communication skills
• Experience Leading Virtual / Distributed Teams
• Technical Subcontractor Management Experience
• Technical Leadership / Project Leadership Experience
• Experience with Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies
Desired Skills:
• Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Experience working with the Navy or other defense agencies, either as a contractor or military personnel
• Relevant certifications such as ITIL, PMP, TOGAF, CSEP
• Experience with cloud-based logistics management solutions and cloud security
• Knowledge of Navy-specific regulations and standards, such as the Navy's Enterprise Architecture and the Department of Defense's (DoD) Cloud Computing Security Requirements Guide (CC SRG)
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Experience with technical writing and documentation
• Familiarity with Navy logistics and supply chain operations, including maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) processes, inventory management, and procurement
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
