Robert Half Sr. Business Intelligence Developer (BI) in Orlando, Florida

Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Sr. Business Intelligence Developer (BI) based in Orlando, Florida. This role involves the design, development, and support of business intelligence reports, dashboards, and queries in a team setting. The successful candidate will be responsible for solving complex technical problems, creating testing methodology and criteria, and designing a curriculum for coaching and training customers in the use of business intelligence tools to enhance decision-making capability.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and support business intelligence reports, dashboards, and queries

• Solve complex technical problems and act as a technical lead on projects across multiple domains

• Develop and implement standards, policies, and procedures for the form, structure, and attributes of business intelligence tools and systems

• Create testing methodology and criteria to ensure quality, completeness, and on-time delivery of work products

• Design and coordinate a curriculum for coaching and training customers in the use of business intelligence tools

• Work independently within a team and provide strategic technical project direction

• Serve as an escalation point for technical problems and identify strategic tools and processes for improvement

• Keep up with current trends in technology market and prototype highly efficient solutions

• Prepare test scripts and conduct tests for data reporting and business reporting solutions

• Work as a SME for the user community to produce reporting requirements. Requirements • Proficiency in Business Intelligence Technologies

• Strong knowledge of SQL Server and Oracle

• Expertise in creating dashboards and prototypes

• Ability to write reports and forecast trends

• Strong decision-making skills

• Familiarity with Snowflake software

• Ability to develop and execute test scripts and methodology

• Expertise in handling technical problems

• Strong customer service skills

• Experience in providing training

• Knowledge of policies and procedures

• Ability to ensure quality and time delivery

• Familiarity with data structures

• Experience in conducting queries

• Ability to understand and meet reporting requirements

• Experience with SME and replenishment

• Strong design skills
