Orlando area company is looking for a Staff Accountant. This is a HYBRID schedule position. The company is looking for a minimum of 1+ years of experience. Responsibilities of the Staff Accountant will include, but not limited to the following.

-- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, including preparation of journal entries, accruals, and adjustments.

-- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

-- Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial reports to support decision-making and strategic planning.

-- Maintain fixed asset records and depreciation schedules, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.

-- Conduct variance analysis and financial performance reviews to identify trends, anomalies, and areas for improvement.

-- Assist with internal and external audits, including providing supporting documentation and responding to audit inquiries.

-- Ensure compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, and recommend process improvements as needed.

-- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline accounting processes, resolve issues, and implement best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

• 1+ years of experience.

• Analytical problem solving skills.

• Collaboration/Teamwork – build relationships across departments
