Lockheed Martin Sustainment Database Information Systems Analyst - Level 2 in Orlando, Florida

Join the Digital Sustainment and Analytics Logistics Information Systems Sustainment team with Lockheed Martin.

The Logistics Information Systems team sustains a wide range of Logistics Information systems across the Lockheed Martin portfolio, primarily for the F-35 IT backbone the Autonomic Logistics Information System(ALIS) and the modernized platform Operational Data Integrated Network (ODIN).

As a part of the Logistics Information System (LIS) Systems Integration & Support Team, the selected candidate will be working in a fast-paced Sustaining Engineering Organization responsible for maintaining internal virtual machines supporting fleetwide data monitoring as a Database Administrator. Additionally, the selected candidate will support data analysis and forecasting efforts for the F-35 Fleet.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- System/database/software and account maintenance and monitoring

- Performing database refreshes and backups on a frequent basis

- Developing database infrastructure to support new data monitoring efforts.

- Maintaining smooth, secure operation of multi-user VMs through coordination with peers and other engineering teams

- Regular monitoring of systems for availability and performance

The selected candidate will also be responsible for written and verbal communication internal to the company/across business streams and technical competencies.

Basic Qualifications:

Undergraduate Degree in Engineering (Computer, Systems, Mechanical, Electrical, etc), Computer Science, Mathematics, or related STEM discipline.

- Must be able to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance

- Experience with Oracle / SQL administration

- Ability to collaborate and integrate with high performance multi-functional teams.

Desired Skills:

- Experience with distributed databases, query languages, programming, and data visualization tools.

- Programming experience with Python or other high-level language (Powershell, Java, etc.)

- Strong communication skills.

- Self-starter who identifies problems, determines, and acts on courses of action, and escalates to leadership when help, direction or approval is required.

- Knowledge of JSF F-35 Autonomic Logistic Information System (ALIS) system

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
