NBC Universal Technical Trainer, Facilities & Utilities in Orlando, Florida
JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for training Facilities & Utilities Technicians to properly perform preventative maintenance and inspections on all aspects of the assigned trade and areas they maintain. Also responsible to identify, develop and facilitate operational and safety training as well as coordinating updates to these training modules in response to changes in procedures or requirements.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Facilitate and conduct all operational, on-the-job, and safety training needed for an area of responsibility including performing one-on-one training of all technicians to manual requirements.
Responsible for writing and maintaining all relevant manuals for area of responsibility.
Responsible for annually reviewing all relevant training manuals for area of responsibility.
Responsible to identify new or changing training requirements and develop a training program to meet them.
Administration and tracking of all training required and received.
Coordinate all outside training with area of responsibility.
Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.
Perform other duties as assigned.
SCOPE:
Trains Facilities & Utilities Technicians in the maintenance of facilities of Universal Orlando buildings and completing specific work orders in assigned area of responsibility; and Assisting Facilities & Utilities management with the supervision and documentation of any contractor activity.
EDUCATION:
High school degree or GED is required.
EXPERIENCE:
5-7 years of field experience at equivalent skill required;
or equivalent combination of education and experience.
