Behind the Design Territory Sales Representative in Orlando, Florida
Homeland manufacturer of blinds, shades, and shutters is looking for a maverick B2B salesperson to build their territory in the Southeast. This is a B2B sales role for an independent industry expert. Our ideal candidates have experience selling to dealers as a manufacturers rep and a demonstrated track record of building a territory for a relationship-based business.
A Day in the Life:
Business development and lead generation: Prospect and travel to various dealers to source and convert leads to accounts/sales.
Engage in strategic sales and account management tasks remotely and onsite with dealers.
Present demonstrations with each dealer on product use, detailed quoting processes and the tooling to keep track of it all.
Provide impeccable follow up with sales accounts, engaging in constant and strategic account management.
Work within our CRM and with our plant manager, customer support, and internal logistics fleet to ensure level of detail and efficiency with product timelines daily, connecting with dealers on expectations.
Engage in strategic account management in order to ensure repeat/referral sales of new and existing products.
Interface with ownership on new product lines, engaging in continuous product education as new product roll out.
Work with the ops team to develop promotions, campaigns, and events.
Maintain industry connections.
Our Offer:
Compensation: Base plus commission compensation model, with base pay of $52k/year.
Projected earnings in year 1: 70-80k with commission and bonus structure.
No cap on commission in a niche where you can easily secure high-dollar, lucrative sales.
Your annual earnings will grow each year with the territory and also based on strategic B2B and product based sales.
Mileage reimbursement provided for sales calls
Meal allowance provided on all-day sales calls
Phone and laptop provided.
Time off: 10 days of PTO and 6 paid holidays per year.
Our Ideal Candidate:
Has a proven track record of success in the industry.
Has a demonstrated track record of building a territory.
Possesses the soft skills of an account manager and the maverick nature of a sales rain maker.
Does not lack problem solving skills, initiative, or figure-it-out-factor.
Additional Expectations:
You’re on during business hours of M-Th 8:30-5:00 and Friday 8:30-4:00.
Consistent travel will be necessary within the area to meet KPI’s. However, you’ll be reimbursed for mileage/travel and have autonomy over your schedule.
Zoom and/or travel into once-weekly leadership meetings onsite on Friday afternoons.
Attend/travel to biannual trade shows to support the business.
Expectation of 6-8 in person customer visits per week
Expectation of 40 prospecting calls per week
