Job Title: Electronics Calibration Technician

Pay rate: $34/hr

Duration: 1 year contract

Shift: M-Th 6:30am-4:30pm

Our Client:

Our client is a leading aerospace and defense contractor. This is a temporary position (W2 Only) in Orlando, FLand is an excellent opportunity for the right individual. The contract is expected to last approximately 1 year. With the opportunity to convert permanently. Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Calibration Technician to join our clients team. The successful candidate will be responsible for calibrating and maintaining a variety of electronic, mechanical, and optical test measuring equipment to ensure they conform to set standards. This role involves setting up calibration sequences, testing and adjusting instruments, and ensuring quality control through meticulous procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Calibrate electronic test measuring equipment and signal generating equipment according to set standards.

  • Test, calibrate, adjust, and maintain electromechanical, mechanical, optical, pneumatic, hydro mechanical, and pressure-type measuring and indicating instruments.

  • Set up calibration sequences, methods, and procedures based on detailed specifications, blueprints, drawings, and requirements.

  • Disassemble, clean, repair, and replace defective parts of test equipment such as pressure gauges and tension meters.

  • Monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures.

Experience & Qualifications:

· 2-4 years of experience with test measurement calibration tools (oscilloscope, RF generator, DMM).

· Experience with IndySoft (current calibration system used by the team).

· Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (to read procedures).

· High school diploma required (No degree required).

· Electronic experience.

· Physical calibration experience.
