Title: Welder/Fabricator

Pay: 22 - 31, based on experience

Shift: 2nd

Job Overview:

To fit and weld parts and frames square and true, with quality workmanship, for machines built to WestRock’s high standards on the premises.

What you will Do:

  • Work safely, follow all safety practices Set up and operate a full rage of sheet metal forming and bending machinery, may be manual, automatic, and/or programmable

  • Perform ordinary hand welding operations, utilizing MIG or stick welding equipment, in all positions, for mechanical strength and high pressure on sheet metal

  • Ability to silver solder various materials

  • Promptness, follow work schedule

  • Cleanup of work area and shop as needed or directed.

What you need to Succeed:

  • Proficiency in MIG, TIG and Stick welding practices

  • Experience in Fabrication a Must

  • Ability to use saws, brakes, and shear

  • Able to read tape measure and understand blueprints.
