Community Health Systems Occupational Therapist - Part Time in ORO VALLEY, Arizona

Occupational Therapist- Part Time

This position will primarily be working in acute care and be oriented to occasionally work in our 33 bed skilled nursing unit (SNU) or possibly our rehabilitation unit (Transitions).

As an Occupational Therapist, at Northwest Medical Oro Valley, you'll play a vital role in doing what you do best- providing quality care to our patients. Requirements:

  • Required: Bachelor's Degree from an accredited program in occupational therapy.

  • Required for NMC : One (1) year of acute care experience

  • Preferred for OVH : One (1) year of acute care experience

  • Required : Current Arizona Occupational Therapist license;

  • American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross(ARC) BLS certification

  • For Skilled Nursing Unit: Fingerprint Clearance Card"

  • Plans and implements specific treatment programs for individual patients according to the principles and practices of occupational therapy.

  • Appropriate prioritization and planning skills, while achieving safety and quality in a high volume environment;

  • Engaging and effective communication and service skills; Adherence to policy and procedures; Process improvement oriented; Self-initiative to assist with whatever is needed.
