Description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Plan and provide state mandated training for Clarity Care and contracted CBRF agency staff.

  • Conduct previously developed state approved courses, assist in reviewing state mandate CBRF courses, and initiate changes according to state requirements and agency needs.

  • Maintain effective communication with contracted agency leaders regarding issues relating to training in assigned areas.

  • Conduct competency testing of students.

  • Assist in planning and providing continuing education classes as requested.

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge base regarding assigned areas of instruction.

  • Integrate new learning technologies into classes

    GENERAL EMPLOYMENT CONDUCT & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Attendance on the job, as well as to trainings, continuing education, and meetings as scheduled. Accept additional work assignments as needed.

  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

    Education and Other Requirements: 

  • Bachelor degree in Nursing, Human Services, Psychology, Special Education, or Social Work preferred.  Relevant training qualifications preferred.

  • Must possess knowledge of CBRF regulations in regard to topics taught.

  • Must be approved by the State of Wisconsin as an instructor for course or courses being taught.

  • Must possess a valid WI driver’s license (where required), and ability to meet agency driving standards.  Must provide proof of auto insurance (where required).

  • Must pass a periodic WI Caregiver Background Checks including Department of Justice Criminal Record Checks, and/or that of previous states of residence.

    Working Conditions: 

    Training Specialist will be providing service in a general office and classroom environment.  There may be exposure to loud noises, white noise, extended periods of sitting or standing, various interruptions, and bright lighting.
