Job Title: Project Engineer

Job Description

Assist in vendor management for COTS components in the electrical, hardware, and networking space. Perform cost analysis and manage component selection based on requirement needs. Understand UL and IEC standards to qualify requirements. Assist in developing testing standards for internal processes.

Responsibilities

  • Understand and apply UL and IEC standards to qualify requirements.

  • Assist in developing testing standards for internal processes.

Essential Skills

  • Vendor management experience

  • Cost analysis and component selection skills

  • Understanding of UL and IEC standards

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience working with vendors

  • Familiarity with testing standards development

The role is office-based within a cubicle environment with occasional exposure to testing labs. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $105000.00

Will have a large computer with dual monitors and a stand up desk optionRecently remodeled building - new office space and shared spaces like patio, lunch rooms, meeting rooms, museum roomsMonday-Friday will work on average 40-45 hours a weekBusiness Casual Environment
