The Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Talent Acquisition professional to lead a team of talented Recruiters supporting a variety of business sectors within Black & Veatch.This role maintains strong partnerships with HRPs and business leaders to ensure team resources and recruiting strategies are aligned and well-positioned to identify and attract top talent to the organization. Additionally, this individual will partner with peer TA Managers on efforts to share team resources, lead and execute deliverables on Blue Chip projects, deliver department-wide training efforts and other work/social activities.

This position is based out of our Headquarters located in Overland Park, Kansas.
Key Responsibilities
Buildstrong partnerships with HRPs and key business stakeholdersto forecast and developstaffing initiatives
Leadand mentora team of experienced Recruiters through the following processes:
Building networks and talent pools in new and existing markets for desirable skill sets through a variety of sourcing channels
Maintaining a focus on Diversity, Equity and Inclusion throughout the hiring process in alignment with Black & Veatch AAP initiatives
Sourcing candidates through creative social media tools and developing robust networking avenues
Engaging passive candidates for openings and maintaining candidate pipelines
Navigating a variety of nuanced relationships within the business to help ensure recruiting best practices are followed
Utilizing internal applicant tracking system to review applications and maintain candidate progress
Closing offers and completing hires, ensuring all candidates have a positive, well-informed experience throughout the process
Ensuring compliance with all federal/state laws and regulations, including EEO and OFCCP requirements
Reflecting BV's vision, mission and core values throughout all activities and interactions, with a core focus onsafety
Management Responsibilities
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree
8+ years of progressive recruiting experience
All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following:criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations.
Preferred Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have:
Extensive full-cycle technical (engineering) recruiting experience, including Requisition Management,Candidate Sourcing and Screening / Interviewing, Internal and / or External Client Relationship Management, Offer Extension / Candidate Closing
Professional communication skills
Problem solving skills
Demonstrated Leadership Qualities
High proficiency with technical search tools, including familiarity with all major search engines
Knowledge of employment law
Strong technical skills, including MS Office proficiency and the ability to track and summarize data in meaningful ways
Work Environment/Physical Demands
Typical office environment with extensive time spent sitting, standing, in front of computer monitors and communicating via a variety of devices and technologies.
Hybrid work schedule : 3 days in-office and 2 days remote
