Assembler Our client in Owatonna, MN is looking for a team oriented and dedicated member to add to their Assembly team. In this role you will be responsible for the assembly components for fabricated metal products according to the instructions specified in the router, BOM, blueprint, or diagram. Position: Assembler Location: Owatonna, MN Type: Full-time Direct Hire Hours: 1st shift?(5:30am to 3:30pm, Monday through Thursday) Pay: Starting at $18.50/hr. & up based on experience. Responsibilities: Assemble or sub-assemble parts based on knowledge of the unit being manufactured or by following blueprints. Operate power tools, hand drills, riveting machines, PEM insertion press, and other equipment to assist in the assembly process. Use measuring devices such as tape measures, mil gauges, weigh scales, thermometers, and others. Visually inspect products after sub-assembly or final assembly to ensure proper assembly and finishing. Move products between inventory locations using material handling equipment as needed. Prepare products for shipping and transportation, including cartooning, taping, banding, shrink-wrapping, and bulk packaging. Handle paperwork related to receiving raw materials, line stock, and shipping finished products. Flex into other departments and work centers to perform necessary production or support tasks. Participate in quarterly inventory cycle counts and the year-end physical count. Education/Certifications: High school diploma or GED; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
