Robert Half Guidewire Integration Developer in Oxford, Massachusetts

Description

As a Guidewire Integration Developer, your primary responsibility will be to participate in and optimize the design, development, and deployment of the integrations in Guidewire PolicyCenter. This hybrid role will collaborate with teams to integrate software components into a fully functional software system.

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with project management and stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into design and implementation plans.

  • Leverage your in-depth knowledge of Guidewire PolicyCenter in the integration of essential applications to meet company and client demands.

  • Implement and integrate JSON, SOAP services using Rest Protocols.

  • Provide hands-on, innovative problem solving and solutions using modern integration technologies like Spring, XML, and JMS.

  • Interface with databases such as Oracle, MySQL, and Microsoft SQL server in Software Development.

  • Test, debug, deploy, and document integration solutions in accordance with company standards and project deadlines.

  • Work effectively in a hybrid work environment, with onsite work 3 days a week.

  • Provide technical support and troubleshoot any development and production issues.

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the latest technologies and advancements in your field.

    Requirements

  • Proven hands-on experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter

  • Experience in developing integrations using JSON and SOAP services.

  • Proficiency in using Spring, XML, JMS.

  • Experience with relational databases such as Oracle, MySQL, and Microsoft SQL Server.

  • Excellent problem-solving ability with meticulous attention to detail.

  • Strong communication and documentation skills.

  • Able to work efficiently in a hybrid working environment.

  • A bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • Guidewire Certifications preferred

  • Experience with Guidewire Cloud Platform highly preferred
