Job Duties

What You’ll Do:

• Cultivate your career and fertilize your future

• Enhance the appearance and value of the athletic fields through the execution of daily grounds and turf maintenance

• Performs tasks necessary to accomplish the field conditions, turf management, and year-round maintenance goals

• Properly trim, mow, weed, paint the layout the field and so much more

• Learn to diagnose insect, disease, and cultural/environmental turf conditions

• Drive, use, maintain and properly operate landscape equipment

• Duties are performed on baseball, softball, soccer, football, track and field, along with lacrosse and field hockey fields. Both natural turf and artificial turf.

• Prepping the fields for set up, painting lines, dragging fields, mowing, irrigation etc.

• Position includes renovating and rebuilding of a sports field.

Qualifications

What We’re Seeking:

• Love of the outdoors

• Ability to complete the Davey landscape career development books

• Ability to complete the Davey first aid, CPR and defensive driving course upon hire
