Job Description: Responsible to Director for departmental operations, to include scheduling and coordination of technologists and modalities. Under the direction of a Radiologist, performs various radiology services and duties directly involved with a variety of technical procedures. Performs a variety of technical procedures that will require independent judgment, with ingenuity and initiative to apply acquired Sonography skills. Assumes responsibility for supervising ancillary personnel and students assigned within the department. Control work progress within those areas of designated responsibility. #Processes information on the Center#s Health Information System as required in performing responsibilities. Together with the Director,#makes recommendations for process improvement initiatives, disciplinary actions, hiring and terminations. # Requirements: Graduate from an accredited school of Sonography. Must possess an ARDMS designation and registered in a minimum of two certifications. #Pursue programs of continuing education consistent with the requirements of ARDMS and Granville Medical Center. Knowledge of current trends and techniques in imaging services appropriate to the practice setting. Minimum 1 year experience in management and/or supervision.
