Responsibilities

In keeping with the Dignity Health core values the Radiology Tech III performs all diagnostic radiology procedures and specialty procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision to technical detail and performs a variety of technical procedures that will require independent judgment with ingenuity and initiative.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Current CPR certification

  • CRT & Fluoroscopy Permit certification

  • Minimum of three (3) years experience as a staff technologist

  • ARRT certification in Mammography Computed Tomography Cardiac/Interventional Radiology or MRI and must spend at least 25% of clinical time working in the specialty.

This position is represented by SEIU Local UHW and is covered by the terms and conditions of the applicable collective bargaining agreement.

Qualifications

Must have a minimum of three years experience as a staff technologist one (1) year experience in one specialty field. Demonstrates extensive knowledge of principles protocols techniques and procedures of Diagnostic Radiography and specialty. Ability to work tactfully and effectively with fellow staff members physicians and the general patient population. Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing. Ability to work independently and be a functional team member in a team oriented environment. Self-motivated and able to achieve results through good organizational skills. Ability to organize and prioritize work efficiently. ARRT and CRT certification required. ARRT certification in Mammography Computed Tomography Cardiac/Interventional Radiology or MRI required. CPR required. Must spend at least 25% of clinical time working in the specialty. . CRT & Fluoroscopy Permit certification required (Fluoroscopy for Mammography and MRI optional at managers discretion). ARRT certification in Mammography Computed Tomography Cardiac/Interventional Radiology or MRI required.

Pay Range

$53.80 - $63.38 /hour
