The Sales Manager - Weddings at Asilomar Conference Grounds is an exceptional opportunity for a sales professional who is passionate about creating flawless experiences and achieving outstanding sales goals. As the Sales Manager, you will play a crucial role in developing strong client relationships and actively prospecting for new business opportunities in the Wedding segment. COMPENSATION: The salary range for this position ranges from $68,000 to $78,000, depending on circumstances including an applicant?s skills and qualifications, certain degrees and certifications, prior job experience, market data, and other relevant factors. Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission (if relevant). This is Aramark?s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of compensation for this position as of the time of posting.

If hired, employee will be in an ?at-will position? and Aramark reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time AND FOR ANY REASON, including, BUT NOT LIMITED TO for reasons related to individual performance, Aramark or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

Job Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with the Sales & Marketing Leadership Team and operational leaders to determine and successfully implement strategies that align with our sales approach and drive annual sales targets.

  • Exceed quarterly and annual sales revenue targets in the Wedding business segment by adopting effective sales methods and prospecting for new customers.

  • Implement a successful outside sales program and apply a combination of sales strategies to grow our customer base.

  • Conduct thorough client research and make use of available resources to tailor sales materials and prepare for client appointments.

  • Deliver compelling presentations to prospective clients that highlight the unique offerings and flawless execution of our venue.

  • Coordinate closely with client partners to ensure timely installations and flawless execution of wedding details, creating unforgettable experiences for our clients.

  • Foster a culture of exceptional guest service by promoting courtesy, goodwill, and a positive attitude in all interactions.

  • Work collaboratively and in a friendly manner with fellow leaders to achieve shared goals.

  • Maintain accurate and updated records in the sales software database as directed by Sales Management.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred, with a minimum of 2+ years of proven experience in Wedding Catering sales.

  • Demonstrated ability to think creatively and effectively lead teams.

  • Strong knowledge of general sales techniques and strategies.

  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, with a consultative selling approach.

  • Ability to influence decision makers at all levels of an organization.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Salesforce.

  • Valid driver?s license.

  • High work ethic and self-initiative.

  • Willingness to travel as needed.

  • Ability to maintain excellent relationships with cross-functional leaders and staff while maintaining confidentiality.

  • Strong business communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written.

  • Basic computational ability.

  • Ability to focus and maintain attention to tasks, completing work assignments on time despite interruptions.

  • Regular attendance according to established guidelines.

  • Willingness to work varying schedules based on the business needs of the property.
