Saint-Gobain Sr. Human Resources Generalist in PALATKA, Florida

What's the job?

The Senior HR Generalist incumbent will support all activities for all employees at the Palatka manufacturing site, serving as a resource to both employees and management in an effort to support the achievement of World Class Manufacturing business goals. This position is responsible for managing day-to-day Human Resources functions including, but not limited to: employee relations, recruiting and selection, HR Compliance, on-boarding, recordkeeping, training and development, compensation, administration of total rewards, benefits, generating required reports, employee discipline, affirmative action planning, and performance management. In addition, the person will deliver on human resources projects in support of ongoing business culture changes.

What do you bring?

  • BS/BA Human Resources, Management, Business or Related Field Required

  • MS/Masters MBA or related Preferred

  • Minimum of 5 Years Progressive HR Experience Required

  • Minimum of 3 Years Human Resources Generalist Manufacturing

  • Minimum of 3 Years HRIS/Applicant Tracking/Time & Attendance Databases Required

  • Practiced knowledge of HR processes and policies, external best practice and legal compliance

  • Required Strong Analytical skills with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook Required

  • Basic understanding of manufacturing operations

  • SHRM-CP Preferred
