Position Specific Description

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Develop end to end technical solutions with AWS services and integrations to Adobe Platform

  • Collaborate with IT / Business users for other systems to integrate into Adobe Platform.

  • Automate business processes using AWS, Adobe platform and related technologies.

  • Build integrations between Adobe and external applications like Salesforce, SAP, EDP, FPL.com, IVR, Mainframe etc. using AWS services or other data integration services

  • Design & architect end to end solution using Architecture best practices and well architected framework principles.

  • Participate in daily scrum meetings, analyze assigned user stories, identify/resolve gaps in functional user stories/business requirements.

  • Translate functional requirements into technical high level/low level design and architecture.

  • Assist in writing technical approach and design documentation as required.

  • Perform independent code and design reviews.

  • Define design standards, coding standards and best practices.

  • Assist team to formulate scenarios for integration testing and performance testing.

  • Debug and resolve issues/problem tickets and/or defects reported in the production system.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 6+ years of AWS experience and 18+ years of Software development experience

  • Bachelor's Degree.

  • Prior Consulting or relevant industry experience.

  • Ability to create technical specifications.

  • Ability to create high level and low level technical design and architecture.

  • At least 10+ year of experience as Architect for implementations including AWS, Integrations with Salesforce, SAP/ERP, Web, IVR or other third party systems.

  • Expertise in architecting solutions applying the following technology domains: Message-oriented middleware, Service integration, Event driven systems, ETL, Integration adapters, Secure web services, Integration with AWS services, Platform Events / CDC.

  • Experience designing and implementing technology-enabled business solutions in client-facing position.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple task assignments, including creation of POCs for new technologies in AWS, integration with Adobe and other technology platform/technologies.

  • Experience implementing and developing end to end solutions using AWS services.

  • Experience in integrating with third party systems and related technologies using AWS or data integration platforms with Adobe to send communications via all channels.

  • Experience in architecting/implementing solutions using cloud best practices & cost optimization techniques to reduce the overall Cloud operational cost.

  • Experience in designing/architecting new solutions using AWS platform.

  • Experience in managing large-scale, high-quality and high-availability software development projects.

  • Deep understanding and experience in software engineering and the energy industry.

  • Experience with agile development methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban and SAFe.

  • Adept at creative solution development; driven to innovate, automate and continuous improvement.

  • Successfully demonstrated leadership and influential skills in a complex organization.

  • Leads with a strong cyber security, quality, ownership, and continuous improvement mindset.

  • Strong oral and written communication skills.

PREFERRED SKILLS

  • Certified AWS professional having AWS Solution Architect Professional certification and other relevant AWS Professional Certifications.

  • Strong technical expertise in application development using AWS services including software architecture design, development, testing, and DevOps.

  • Strong expertise in architecting and design using AWS cloud services – EC2, S3, Lamba, Aurora, ECS, Kafka, MSK, Kubernetes, Redshift etc.

  • Strong expertise in architecting and designing AWS Database Solutions- RDS, Aurora, DynamoDB, Redis Cache

  • Strong expertise in architecting and designing solutions using databases – Oracle, Aurora, Postgres, Dynamo and Redshift

  • Experience in developing integrations between Adobe and external applications like Salesforce, SAP, EDP, FPL.com, IVR etc. using REST, SOAP APIs, Mulesoft, Kafka, Messaging and other Integration patterns using AWS

  • Experience in building ETL pipelines using AWS Glue to Extract, Transform and load data from different sources into S3.

  • Experience in developing solutions with AI and integrating to Adobe Platform

  • Experience working with large data sets

  • Competency and general web development experience in other languages / development (XML, Java, JavaScript, SQL, SOAP-based web services, HTML, CSS

  • Demonstrates continued personal/professional development.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Works with business partners to analyze strategy and trends to define the requirements, principles, and models that guide technology decisions

  • Communicates and enforces technology standards with business partners

  • Understands industry trends and the practical application of existing, new, and emerging technologies

  • Drives digital innovation and develops roadmaps through new technologies and approaches to fulfill strategic business plans

  • Defines high-level migration plans to address gaps in current state

  • Coaches, mentors, and leads technical subject matters experts to enable and drive consistency across technology architectures

  • Designs and owns governance, assurance, and standards activities for enterprise technology architecture compliance

  • Oversees and facilitates the evaluation, risk assessment, selection, and design of hardware and software technology and product standards

  • Delivers technology architecture artifacts, possibly including reference architectures or concepts of operation

  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned
