Erickson Living Staff Development Manager Dining Services in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida

Devonshire is a luxurious 26-acre resort-style continuing care retirement community located on the grounds of prestigious PGA National in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. Devonshire at PGA National is seeking to a Staff Development Manager who can lead effective strategies for training, development and retention of staff for our Dining Services Department. This position is a key essential role that works with current and future staff to mentor and monitor professional skills and development.

How you will make an impact:

  • Coordinate and facilitate dining new hires employee orientation.

  • Develop, coordinate and present dining skills training for service and sanitation.

  • Collaborate with community recruiter, support outreach efforts to source qualified applicants.

  • Oversee and ensures efficient hiring and onboarding process off all dining staff in conjunction with HR department.

  • Compensation: Commensurate with experience starting at $68,000 / annually

What you will need:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.

  • Proven experience managing and motivation in a customer service environment.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.

  • Related experience in food service, an educational food service management program, or experience in recruitment, staff development and training with an ability to learn food service.

*Must have weekend/holiday availability.
