Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems (NGAS) is currently seeking a Pricing Analyst to join our team supporting the Strike Division. This position will be staffed as a full-time role and will report to our Palmdale, CA office.

What You’ll Get to Do:

  • The Principal Pricing Analyst will lead Pricing activities. Report to the Pricing and Estimating Manager.

  • The Pricing Analyst supports various departmental business management and operations functions. They interact with personnel and management at all levels; interfacing and coordinating with other business management personnel on a daily basis.

  • The Pricing Analyst will develop, analyze, evaluate, coordinate, prepare, and support cost proposals to government customers, including reviewing Requests for Proposals (RFP) and proposal documents for compliance to customer specifications and adherence to company policy. Specifically, the Pricing Analyst will provide interpretation of RFP requirements and ensure Northrop Grumman Estimating System compliance, ensure FAR/DFAR and Truth in Negotiations Act (TINA) compliance of proposals, and support proposals through the NAR/ICE and C101 corporate approval process.

  • The Pricing Analyst will provide reviews of all estimates prior to delivery and review by senior management, prepare and present cost estimates to management, customer representatives and government audit agencies. They will support audit requests, fact-finding, and negotiation discussions and the program budget baseline process.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree with 3 years of experience or a Master's Degree with 1 year of experience in the following areas: Proposal Development, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Pricing, Estimating and/or related experience

  • Must have the ability to obtain and maintain DoD Secret clearance level or higher.

  • Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, Vlookups, nested formulas, macros), PowerPoint, and Word.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with the government proposal process

  • Knowledge and understanding of labor/material estimating, proposal analysis, and proposal adequacy as prescribed in DFARS

  • Experience with cost accounting, pricing and estimating concepts and principles.

  • Must have a working knowledge of the Government contracting environment (FAR and DFARS)

  • Strong analytical, presentation, and leadership skills

  • Experience analyzing and presenting information to various groups and levels of management.

  • Experience with RFPs and preparing and reviewing proposal documents

  • Pricing and Proposal Analyst Experience

  • Knowledge of TINA and other Government Regulations

  • Proficiency in Excel

Salary Range: $72,100 - $108,100

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
