Duties and Responsibilities: Sales and Service of personal, commercial and life and health accounts per established agency procedures.

Prepare insurance summaries and assist in surveying clients to determine insurance needs, inspecting current insurance policies, risk management plans, property, products and other records.

Marketing new and renewal business in compliance with underwriting guidelines.

Actively review expiration lists to determine appropriate action and collection of information to prepare renewals.

Prepare formal proposals of insurance including details of coverages, limits, deductibles and other pertinent information. Issue binders and certificates of insurance per agency procedures. Utilize agency checklist and follow procedures.

Establish communication with assigned clients for the purpose of servicing the account.

Maintain all client activity in the agency automation system.

Communicate with senior sales representative regarding cancellations and non-renewal activity.

Prioritize workload and request assistance as required.

Prompt and reliable attendance is required.

Assume other job responsibilities as assigned.
