ManpowerGroup Engineering Technician, Testing in Palo Alto, California

Our client is seeking an Engineering Test Technician to join their team. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience with testing firmware and software development in Power Electronics or related field which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Engineering Test Technician (6-Month Contract)

Location: Palo Alto, CA

Pay Range: $40.00 Hourly

What’s the Job?

• Work closely with Engineering team while creating test processes

• Execute tests for Power Electronics products, including firmware and software validation testing.

• Maintain test fixtures and conduct component and system level testing.

• Monitor test equipment for correct function and document any discrepancies

• Assist in design, perform builds, calibration, periodic maintenance and troubleshooting of test equipment used for reliability and testing to failure.

What’s Needed?

• 2+ years of experience with testing, firmware, and software development in Power Electronics or related field.

• Ability to operate a wide variety of hand and power tools, shop tools, and lab equipment.

• Hands on experience with test setup and execution, including data collection and analysis.

• Experience with programming languages such as C++, Python, or MATLAB.

• Familiarity with environmental stress testing or automated test systems.
