A Brief Overview

The Manager-ERP Reporting is responsible for overseeing and leading operational activities and logistics associated with implementation and maintenance efforts regarding the utilization of Workday's Reporting and Business Intelligence platform. This position is responsible for staff supervision and performance management and ensures team members have the skills, resources, and capabilities to meet business needs. The Manager-ERP Reporting aligns business operations to overarching unit initiatives and strategies and is responsible for implementing and adhering to best practices, policies and procedures.

What you will do

  • Strategy Development Participation

  • Contributes to the design, planning, development, and implementation of Workday Reporting initiatives and solutions; utilizes best practices and recommends improvements and approaches aligned with overarching strategies and goals

  • Oversees operational components of short- and long-term Workday Reporting development roadmap implementations

  • Operationalizes Workday Reporting features, developing guidelines, policies, procedures and supporting tools

  • Workday Finance Reporting Management

  • Serves as a main point of contact regarding Workday Reporting activities, requirement documentation, internal/external stakeholder alignment, and execution planning.

  • Responds to inquires associated with interdepartmental dependencies and cross collaboration improvements, recommending solutions and escalating concerns, when necessary

  • Assists with the completion of business processes reviews and recommends improvements and optimizations to leadership

  • Serves as a resource managing Workday Reporting development requests and projects, answering questions, and escalating concerns to leadership

  • As needed, assist in development of reports to help meet demand.

  • Finance Analytics

  • Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to implement transformation programs, workflows, processes and procedures regarding: Business Analytics, Cloud solutions, Data Warehousing, Predictive Analytics, Data Governance, Artificial Intelligence, and Cyber Security

  • Collaborates with Information Technology professionals and business units to ensure that technical functionality meets business requirements and is properly documented

  • Understands the short- and long-term strategies for the corporate business intelligence analytics programs and ensures business unit actions effectively deliver information that meets established requirements

  • Analyzes existing operations and makes recommendations for the improvement and growth of the Business Intelligence/Enterprise Data Warehouse (BI/EDW) architecture.

  • Prioritizes customer service/experience and integrates that focus into business processes, deliverables and outcomes

  • Partnership & Culture

  • Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to solve business and systems issues in the areas of business intelligence analytics and data warehousing

  • Promotes a learning and improvement-focused culture

  • Subject Matter Expertise

  • Develops, implements, and maintains all key Workday Finance Reporting policies and procedures, including those for BI/EDW architecture, standards, monitoring, and service provision

  • Ensures individual and team compliance with all organizational policies and procedures

Education Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in business, finance, computer/data science or related fieldRelevant experience in lieu of degree may be considered. Relevant experience in lieu of degree is in addition to the experience requirements for this position

Experience Qualifications

  • 5+ years of progressively responsible and directly related work experience, with 3+ years in an operational management role with staff supervision responsibilities

  • Experience working in Finance at complex healthcare organization preferred

  • 5+ years of Workday Reporting

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Detailed understanding of and working knowledge of the Workday reporting and analytics toolset including but not limited to PRISM, matrix reports, advanced reports, calculated fields, etc.

  • Change Champion for Workday Reporting and Analytics and the value that real time accurate data brings to decision makers

  • Detailed understanding of ERP System concepts and general Workday module functionality

  • Knowledge of ETL or Reporting Tool Development lifecycle

  • Strong program/project management knowledge and skills, covering planning and execution including ability to rapidly assess risk and identify/resolve issues

  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate a high level of activity under various conditions and constraints

  • Ability to build a positive team culture and promote professional growth

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including relationship and conflict management

  • Analytical skills in observing and documenting processes at a detailed level

  • Ability to establish and maintain professional relationships with community and professional groups which reflect favorably for the department

  • Ability to implement new processes and procedures that meet stakeholder needs

  • General knowledge of business intelligence and reporting concepts such as relational databases, basic programming skills, reporting software skills, data warehouses, data modeling, ETL, SQL, multi-tenancy or SaaS and reporting tools

  • Establish, contribute, and maintain a positive and productive work environment

  • Communicate professionally to both internal and external customers

  • Keep Finance stakeholders informed of new or updated standards, processes, procedures, reports and dashboards through team meetings and verbal and written communications as it relates to Workday Reporting and any other Workday reporting tool set (i.e. Prism, Discovery Boards, Worksheets, etc..)

Base Pay Scale: Generally starting at $66.46 - $88.05 per hour

The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialty and training. This pay scale is not a promise of a particular wage.
