Key Responsibilities:**
- Maintain security clearance and cybersecurity workforce eligibility.
- Perform set-up, configuration and maintenance of network, cryptographic, and peripheral equipment.
- Create, modify, apply, and troubleshoot access control lists on Cisco ASA, Cisco IOS, and IOS-XE.
- Operate and maintain Palo Alto next-generation firewalls.
- Utilize Cisco Identity Services Engine to enforce policy decisions IAW client strategies.
- Perform tasks while adhering to COMSEC and HAIPE (KG-250X/KG-175) tactics, techniques and procedures (TTP).
- Support troubleshooting of physical and virtual infrastructure connections in a software defined network environment at both local and remote sites.
- Up to 10% travel to CONUS/OCONUS locations (Occasional 2-3 week trips)
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Network or Computer Engineering; Computer Science; Computer Systems, Information Security; Information Systems Management; Information Technology or a related field with 4-6 years related experience or a Master of Science degree with 2-4 years of experience
- Minimum of four (4) years of experience with installation, maintenance, administration, and troubleshooting of secure enterprise networks
- Minimum of four (4) years experience enforcing complex network security measures such as access control lists, next-generation firewalls, and routing controls.
- Must have at a minimum DoD 8140 basic combination of experience and certification (Security+, etc.) and have or the ability to obtain an OS/CE (i.e Cisco CCNA/CCNP or Palo Alto) certification prior to start.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with virtual desktop environments
- Hands-on experience configuring/tuning VMWare NSX-T
- Experience with Cisco Threatgrid ESA, WSA, and Secure Endpoint product lines
- Security+
- Cisco CCNA/CCNP or Palo Alto
