The City of Paola, Kansas (pop. 5,700) is seeking applicants for a full-time Street Superintendent. Under supervision of the Director of Public Works, the Street Superintendent directs the operation and staff of the street department in the construction, repair, and maintenance of the city street systems, alleys, and related facilities.

Knowledge of methods, materials and equipment used in construction and maintenance of road, alley, bridge and drainage facilities. Knowledge of routine maintenance required for trucks, equipment and hand tools. Ability to effectively communicate instructions.
