Robert Half Human Resources Director in Paradise, Pennsylvania

Description

We are seeking a highly capable and experienced HR Director to lead and oversee all aspects of the human resources department. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure all HR operations are conducted efficiently and effectively, contributing to the development and optimization of our workforce. Through strategic guidance and direction, you will align our HR initiatives to meet the overall business objectives, fostering productive relationships, and promoting a positive, legally compliant work environment. This role will work onsite in the Lancaster, PA area.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Administers various human resource plans and procedures for all personnel; development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures; prepares and maintains the employee handbook, job descriptions, and the policies and procedures manual.

  • Monitors the performance evaluation program.

  • Administering of the 401(k) plan, to include census reporting and preparation of the form 5500.

  • Files EEO-1 and OFCCP report annually; and maintains other records, reports and logs to conform to EEO regulations.

  • Manages and updates the Affirmative Action Plan.

  • Handles employee relations counseling, outplacement counseling and exit interviewing. Analyzes data and makes recommendations to the management team for corrective action and continuous improvement.

  • Manages and tracks all employee disciplinary action.

  • Responds to employee relations issues.

  • Maintains compliance with federal, state and local employment and benefits laws and regulations.

  • Ensures compliance with USCIS Form I-9 Employment Eligibility Verification; periodically audits Forms I-9.

  • Evaluate and make recommendations on comprehensive compensation and benefits plans that are fiscally responsible for the organization.

  • Manages workmen’s compensation claims and reporting requirements; prepares and files response to unemployment compensation claims.

  • Manages HR department.

  • Maintains and coordinates employee recognition programs.

    Requirements

  • A proven track record as an HR Director or similar role.

  • Extensive knowledge of human resource management principles and best practices.

  • Familiarity with industry's laws and regulations.

  • Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.

  • Professional certification (e.g. PHR/SPHR) will be an added advantage.
