System One CNC Programming / Lathe Setup Lead in Paramus, New Jersey

SUMMARY

  • CNC Programming / setup and operation of five-axis CNC Lathes, Swiss machines, and 9 Axis Doosan Mill-Turn

  • Read blueprints and perform first article inspection

  • Perform multiple daily setups including adjusting tool lengths and offsets as necessary

  • Assemble and preset tooling for subsequent operations during automated cycles to reduce machine downtime

  • Perform machining of stainless steel, brass, and aluminum

  • Perform basic math, geometry, and trigonometry as required

  • Perform Five-axis programming and utilize Esprit Cam software

    QUALIFICATIONS

  • HSD/GED required; apprenticeship or equivalent plus a 2-year technical school degree/certificate preferred

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience as a setup operator in a manufacturing environment

  • Use of some advanced shop mathematics, formulas

  • CNC Programming experience, 5 Axis programming

  • Familiar with Esprit Cam Software for generating CNC programs

  • Experience with GD&T

  • Experience with Quality related issues and the ability to troubleshoot

  • Use of adjustable measuring instruments and advanced quality control equipment.

  • Knowledge in blueprint reading of complicated drawings, specifications and charts/table
