Responsibilities

NV5 is seeking an Assistant Resident Engineer to work fulltime on an upcoming landmark NJDEP linear park and transportation project in Newark. 15 months fulltime on site and thereafter as required with NJDEP or other NJ Transportation projects. NJ P.E. preferred but not required, 5 years minimum experience in similar construction environment. Knowledge of NJDOT, NJ Turnpike specifications is beneficial. Experience working with NJ EDA a plus.

Responsibilities

    Perform roles delegated by the Senior Resident Engineer
  • Elevate as required to the onsite Senior Resident Engineer
  • Oversee other personnel as required
  • Ensure all reports, documentation, and payments are processed in an accurate and timely manner
Qualifications
  • Minimum of five (5) years construction management experience
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience working in support role for of a Resident Engineer on site.
  • NICET II or higher preferred.
  • Detailed orientated
  • Experience with construction documentation
  • Experience with Office Suite
  • Experience in document control required.

Certifications/Licenses:

  • NJ PE License required

Compensation: $70,000 - 80,000 per year

Base pay offered for this New Jersey based role may be higher or lower depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience of the candidate. Restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
