The Role

The primary focus of this role is to work within Salesforce and Oracle to research current and prior contacts in our database, match requests for contact updates to existing individuals, and link or create contacts quickly and accurately. The main responsibilities include creating and updating primary contacts for franchisees and their contracts, enabling these contacts to self-service their needs for reporting, updating staff, making online payments, running reports, and more for their franchised hotel locations. This also allows contacts to delegate reporting and fee payment responsibilities to chosen individuals.

A crucial part of the role is to continuously monitor the accuracy of information within Oracle and its flow to Salesforce and other systems, which is essential for franchisee operations. Your ability to research and understand the complex data relationships between Oracle and other systems is key to WH&R's data integrity and compliance requirements.

Additionally, this position may involve preparing amendments to franchise agreements. You will work with the Sr. Director of Contracts Administration, Vice President of Contracts Administration, owners, operators, financial institutions, and attorneys to negotiate and execute all legal aspects of agreements. Other tasks may include processing Third Party Agreements between the franchisee, Wyndham Hotels and Resorts, and lenders as needed.

What you'll do

  • Follow protocol and procedures for Contact updates. Monitor the accuracy of information within Oracle and its flow of information to Salesforce and Wyndham Community.

  • Track tickets and issues surrounding the integrity of information within the data flow and feed from Oracle to Salesforce.

  • Monitor the effectiveness of the tools and the ability of the Franchisee to pay, determined by their access to WynPay.

  • Gather information, prepare documents, and compose letters.

  • Responsible for follow-up on all licensing/franchising activities. This requires follow-up by telephone contact and significant written correspondence to bring all franchise/license agreement issues or concerns to a close.

  • Responsible for the integrity of information entered within Oracle as it relates to the position and tasks/responsibilities.

  • Provide research information as needed to attorneys (internal and external). Provide updated and summary information by property as requested by senior management within the company.

  • Must be able to change priorities and work tasks based on the urgency of specific contracts and job tasks as needed.

  • Must show accountability for work and tasks that are performed.

  • Work well and professionally communicate with both internal and external teams to accomplish tasks.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills including a high level of attention to detail and strong proofreading skills.

  • Must have strong organizational, analytical and time management skills.

  • Experience with SalesForce, Oracle or other equivalent database management tools is a plus but not required.

Required Qualifications/Experience

  • Two-year degree in business or legal related field or a Paralegal certificate.

  • Be proficient in Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Adobe.
