Description

Growing mid-size manufacturing company located in Central Morris County has an excellent opportunity for a Sr. Cost Accountant. The perfect candidate will be a highly motivated hands-on self-starter with 3+ years of experience in a cost accounting / manufacturing environment. Position will be responsible for preparing and analyzing monthly reports for a few manufacturing sites, analyze actual production costs compared against budget and recommend changes. Will also be involved in the month end close process. Will work directly with the plants on cost and time saving initiatives as well. Must have an Accounting or Finance degree with knowledge of US GAAP. Strong communication skills and ability to work well with others. Strong knowledge of Excel required along with Cost and Inventory Accounting experience. Position is eligible for long-term growth with a solid career path and will have high exposure to the Controller and CFO. The company offers a competitive compensation package in the $80,000- $120,000 range depending on experience, plus generous bonus targets. Very nice office location and environment in Morris County.
