Description:

• Servicing and Starting of Plants

• Programming of Systems - SCADA and PLC

• Assisting in Producing Details of Specifications and Designs

• Working with Other Professionals, Inside and Outside the Engineering Industry

Some daily tasks in this role include:

• Site review to determine status of control systems at treatment facilities

• Instrument and control troubleshooting at customer sites

• SCADA (Human Machine Interface) programming using special tools developed for this type of programming

• PLC Programming

• Computer systems troubleshooting

• Network troubleshooting

• Report writing

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• The ideal candidate would be someone who has good basic Engineering/Technical skills,

• Experience in assembly, e.g., mechanical assembly, electronic wiring, signal debugging/tracing; mechanical alignment

• Strong mechanical aptitude - not afraid to be hands on with industrial equipment

• Some hands on with computer systems and instrumentation, and is willing to learn new skills. If they have some programming skills, that would be a plus.
