Sr. Developer - Business Intelligence & Data Warehouse

Remote or Hybrid Schedule: Monday-Friday 9:00AM-6:00PM Tuesday-Thursday In Office

Major Responsibilities

  • Builds and maintains PowerBI reports. Design and build interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI to effectively communicate insights to stakeholders.

  • Ad-hoc analysis in PowerBI or with SQL.

  • Perform data quality checks and implement data validation procedures.

  • Takes the lead on developing processes for effective data analysis and reporting.

  • Partners with BU leaders and their teams to understand their business needs to develop actionable data on customer behavior, segments and product in the various sales channels.

  • Presents insight and recommendations.

  • Works with offshore ETL/pipeline team for any new data requirements and changes.

  • Controls and develops internal/external information sources for business analysis.

  • Identify opportunities with new features of tooling.

  • Boost a data driven culture by empowering high level users as well as power users with systems and tools to get the answers they are looking for.

  • Provide an environment for close to real-time data analysis and reporting.

  • Build out Predictive and Machine Learning capabilities.

  • Delivery of identified projects to meet timeline.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Skills/Knowledge Required

  • Strong PowerBI and SQL skills.

  • Experience with Azure, Data Factory, Power Automate, Data Lake.

  • Ability to work closely with users to empower them to be data driven.

  • Solid verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to function equally well in team settings as well as on an individual basis.

  • Solid organization skills and ability to multi-task.

  • Strong analytical skills / understanding of financial systems.

  • Ability to learn new technologies and products quickly and without formal instruction.

  • Ability to solve problems proactively.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or related technical discipline or equivalent combination of education/technical certifications, training, or work experience.

  • Minimum five (5) years of SQL database design/development experience.

  • Experience with NoSQL databases.

  • Experience with real-time reporting.

  • Min 5 years of experience with business intelligence practices and software required.

Salary Range: $120,000-$165,000
