Position Summary:
The Production Coordinator will provide support to the Production Department with various job duties that assist to maintain continuous flow in operations.
Responsibilities:
- Reconcile pipeline data to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Schedule transportation and manage logistics planning.
- Analyze trends to inform decision-making and optimize operations.
- Place accurate orders for additives and raw materials based on requirements.
- Collaborate on inventory management to maintain optimal stock levels.
- Perform spreadsheet reconciliation to track and validate data.
- Coordinate waste management activities in compliance with regulations.
- Handle professional email correspondence to support operations.
- Research and evaluate new products or materials for potential use.
- Arrange and manage appointments with vendors and stakeholders.
- Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and assistance.
- Perform additional transportation scheduling tasks as needed.
- Carry out other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent with 7-10 years of relevant experience
- Proficient computer skills, specifically MS Outlook, MS Excel, and MS Word
- SAP experience highly preferred
- Must be able to multi-task with excellent organizational skills
- Must be able to work closely with the production team to anticipate production needs
- Good interpersonal skills with a wide range of people and positions
- Must have great attention to detail with excellent time management skills
- Excellent coordination skills
