V2X Financial Analyst- Journeyman (H-60) in Patuxent River, Maryland

Responsibilities

  • What You'll Do:

  • The H-60 Financial Analyst Journeyman will plan, manage, and execute program financial requirements and provide recommendations related to the execution and budgeting of MH-60R Program Office.

  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial analysts for the MH-60R/S Program are responsible for providing support to the PMA-299 MH-60R/S Business Financial Managers (BFMs).

  • Collecting, analyzing, and tracking program budget requirements with multiple program offices, contractors, and United States Government (USG) agencies

  • Executing program funding in Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) in accordance with budget requirements and direction of customer.

  • Extensive experience with all financial databases (including CSPT) and possesses the skills to support and train other team members.

Qualifications

  • Minimum Qualifications:

  • Education

  • Journeyman: A Journeyman level person within a labor category has 3 to 10 years of experience and a BA/BS degree. A Journeyman level person typically performs all functional duties independently.

  • Experience:

  • Minimum 3 - 10 years of direct experience in USN Financial Management

  • Other Requirements:

  • Must be able to get a Secret Clearance

  • U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will require the ability to access US only data system.

  • Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience:

  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Expert-level use of Microsoft Office Suite Applications.

  • Effective written and oral communication skills.

  • Skills & Technology Used

  • Analytical Thinking & Problem Solving:

  • Possesses both analytical and interpersonal skills.

  • Good problem solving, negotiation and organizational skills/techniques.

  • Business Partner/Effective Communicator:

  • English language skills to communicate.

  • Strong communicator must be able to communicate clearly both in writing and orally.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Customer service oriented, detail focused, pro-active behavior, multi-task capability.

  • Software:

  • Microsoft Office Suite

  • Excel

  • Outlook

  • SharePoint

  • Personal computer, printer, copy machine and other general office equipment.

  • The successful candidate’s starting pay will be based on, but not limited to, their job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions.

  • The following salary range is intended to display the value of the company’s base pay compensation and may be modified at the discretion of the company.

  • USD $75,000 - $95,000

  • Provided salary range minimum and maximum values correspond to variances between regional/geographic locations across the United States.
