Job Title: Material Handling Laborer Location: Pax River, MD Company: Bear Den Technology

Job Summary: Bear Den Technology is seeking a reliable and hardworking Material Handling Laborer to join our team at Pax River, MD. The successful candidate will be responsible for the efficient movement, storage, and management of materials within our facility. This role is crucial to maintaining the smooth operation of our production and logistics processes. Key Responsibilities:

  • Load, unload, and transport materials and products to designated locations using various equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.

  • Ensure accurate inventory management by maintaining detailed records of material movements.

  • Perform regular inspections of equipment and promptly report any issues or malfunctions.

  • Assist in the organization and cleanliness of the warehouse and storage areas.

  • Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.

  • Collaborate with team members and other departments to fulfill material handling needs.

  • Assist in packing, labeling, and preparing materials for shipment.

  • Participate in periodic inventory counts and audits.

  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

    Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Proven experience as a material handler or in a similar role preferred.

  • Ability to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment (certification is a plus).

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods.

  • Good communication and teamwork skills.

  • Basic computer skills for inventory management.

  • Commitment to adhering to safety standards and protocols.
