Naval Air Systems Command PROGRAM MANAGER in Patuxent River, Maryland

Summary You will serve as a Program Manager in the Program Management Group of NAVAIRWARCENAC DIV. Responsibilities You will manage and support a team to achieve program technical, cost, and schedule objectives. You will develop and coordinate all required program acquisition documentation and briefings. You will ensure all program requirements and milestones are communicated and coordinated with program leadership. You will develop and promulgate detailed program budgets with internal and external stakeholders. You will analyze needs and requirements information necessary for the development of specific objectives for assigned program initiatives and for planning. You will direct the development of comprehensive program plans to ensure fulfillment of technical, cost, schedule, and performance objectives. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-12/13) grade level or pay band (DA-05) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: (1) Managing and supporting a team to achieve program technical, cost, and schedule objectives while ensuring all program requirements and milestones are communicated with program leadership; (2) Developing and coordinating all required program acquisition documentation and briefings while leading discussions on program changes; (3) Promulgating detailed program budgets with internal and external stakeholders and analyzing needs and requirements for the development of specific objectives for assigned program initiatives; (4) Directing the development of comprehensive program plans to ensure fulfillment of technical cost, schedule, and performance objectives while assuring all planning is fully integrated with the overall program team effort; and (5) Applying the tools and techniques of process identification and continuous process improvement in addressing program management problems and issues while serving as a central point of contact within the program office for all matters.
