Job Description Summary

The role of the Move Coordinator is to assist the FF&E, Space Planning and Move Add Change Team with the planning and implementation of relocations, logistic moves, furniture reconfigurations, and IT systems. This role is highly interactive with the client site population. A strong customer service focus and desire to provide direct assistance to the client population is required.

Job Description

  • Develop and maintain excellent working relationship with key business partners, vendor partners, and MAC Assistant Manager.

  • Manage new hire placement.

  • Manage weekly small (<10) or large (>10) group moves.

  • Implement move plan in accordance with the approved occupancy plan.

  • Coordinate with FM team, PDS team, and/or move vendor on installation and reconfiguration of furniture as it pertains to small and large group moves.

  • Coordinate with project manager to ensure work is delivered within timeframe and agreed-upon scope.

  • Coordinate pre-move-walkthroughs to ensure spaces are ready to receive occupants.

  • Keep track of all tasks, schedules, and budgets related to the move.

  • Ensure all moves are performed in a manner consistent with documented processes and adhere to schedules.

  • Support change management as it pertains changing workspace and work style.

  • Drive to improve client awareness by providing trending analysis for MAC process.

  • Send out post-move surveys and reports on findings and identify process improvements as appropriate.

  • Evaluate and provide improvement suggestions for move processes and vendors; identify ways to improve client relationships through the MAC process.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.

  • One to two (1-2) years of experience in project or technology coordination preferred.

  • Strong knowledge of move process and furniture systems

  • Experience with database work order or CAFM system

  • Ability to develop excellent client relations, client management, and consultation skills.

  • Superior oral and written communication skills

  • Software proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Project, Excel, and Visio

  • Client and customer service focused with strong organizational, technology and communication skills.
