Intuitive is looking for a data and process oriented, Travel and Meeting and Events Senior Manager. This position will have operational and program responsibility for the Global Travel, Meeting and Events programs at Intuitive. This individual should be able to manage global programs and policies around Intuitive's footprint for Global Travel and Meeting and Events including sourcing strategies to provide Intuitive with best-in-class pricing and service and execute the day-to-day activities.

This position requires an individual who has strong interpersonal skills to build internal partnerships with Finance, Sales, Marketing, Legal, Security, HR, as well as external relationships with outside vendors. . Additionally, this individual must have the analytical skills to review and manage costs and a process orientation directed at process efficiency for partners, users and within the department.

Meetings and Events:

Oversee key aspects of meetings and events management coordinating with the various departments to ensure that these activities are executed cost effectively and efficiently, while meeting their objectives. Specific responsibilities of this role include venue sourcing, price negotiations, contract negotiations, coordination of accommodations and transportation for internal and external customers, meals, and other elements.

Global Travel:

Manage Intuitive's corporate travel program with a focus on its impact on cost while meeting the needs of the business. Evolve Intuitive's travel program from US centric to a program. Manage all of Intuitive's travel vendors for air, lodging and other travel related elements.

What you get to do in this role: Manage operations for global travel (air, hotel, and ground transportation) and meeting and events programs. Work closely with the global teams to ensure consistency in employees' travel experience, while considering the need for regional differences in processes, tools and business needs. Develop and manage travel reporting, reviewing and analyzing cost savings and efficiencies, travel policy exceptions and service goals. Review the current travel processes and procedures to identify and lead the implementation of areas of improvement. Manage Intuitive's preferred online bookings globally, ensuring accuracy of site configuration, policy rules, and preferred supplier rates. Coordinate with Finance and stakeholders to maintain and update, as appropriate, Intuitive's G obal Travel policy and to manage compliance to established policies. Lead and improve the training and communications to internal and external stakeholders as applicable. Partner with stakeholders in managing Intuitive's Global Travel and Meetings and Events spend. Partner with stakeholders to lead supplier selection activities including conducting RFx's aligned to Intuitive's policies. Perform benchmarking and drive other market intelligence activities. Utilize data and analysis to evaluate costs of programs and manage costs Partner with stakeholders to develop strategic sourcing plans/pipeline looking ahead 1 -5 years Coordinate with internal stakeholders to develop event project plans and objectives, including master timeline and budget. Supplier Management: Coordinate with contracts team and sourcing as necessary, and lead contract negotiations associated with managing, program venues and suppliers including exhibit, show management, transportation, housing management, registration, promotional vendors, exposition services, security, destination management, and other third-party vendors as required. Ensure suppliers follow data privacy protocols. Measure, manage and improve supplier performance against negotiated KPI's/SLA's and other metrics. Implement and lead regular supplier business review meetings. Build strong and productive working relationships with stakeholders and business partners.
