Summary You will serve as a MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the Engineering and Planning Department of PEARL HARBOR NSY AND IMF. Salary Range: GS09: $62,517 - $81,272 GS11: $75,640 - $98,330 Responsibilities You will conduct a variety of studies, related to all the substantive programs, processes, and functions of the assigned division. You will evaluate and recommend solutions to staffing/pay/leave/budget/training/quality. You will perform basic review of drafting, and sending correspondence to answer or respond to critiques, audits, and other inquiries about the organizations’ functions. You will provide assistance in planning, coordinating and executing guidance and support PQTs, Branch Heads, and the Division Head/Deputy Division Head based on facts obtained through analytical studies, investigation and technical evaluations. You will perform precise data collection, identifying weakness in division/department processes, and provide accurate data for managers to formulate/recommend solutions. You will identify potential bottlenecks to minimize unwanted, detrimental, or negative effects on the division and division personnel. You will provide additional secretarial functions for the assigned division and Engineering and Planning Department such as managing records, time attendance, and correspondence. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications For GS11 Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: analyzing and evaluating processes, procedures, control, and functions related to scheduling, quality, pay/leave, staffing, or training to provide solutions and recommendations for the efficiency and effectiveness of an industrial shipyard's engineering and operational programs. For GS09: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: conducting management studies related to scheduling, quality, pay/leave, staffing, or training to provide solutions and recommendations for processes, procedures, control and functions improvement of an industrial shipyard's engineering and operational programs.
