We are seeking a human resources assistant to join our team in Peekskill, New York. This role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the onboarding and offboarding of staff.

• Generate and manage attendance reports.

• Prepare and organize meeting agendas.

• Utilize spreadsheets and other software for administrative tasks.

• Handle inbound telephone calls professionally and efficiently.

• Leverage your administrative experience to ensure seamless operations.

• Use human resources software for efficient staff management.

Requirements • Must possess proficiency in using spreadsheets

• Experience in onboarding new employees is required

• Familiarity with nVision software is necessary

• Ability to create and manage meeting agendas

• Able to handle inbound telephone calls professionally and efficiently

• Previous administrative experience is a must

• Knowledge of various human resources software is beneficial

• Strong organizational and multitasking skills

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• High attention to detail

• Problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions under pressure

• Must respect and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information

• A degree in Human Resources or a related field is preferred but not mandatory

• Must be legally eligible to work in the country of employment.
