Job Summary

Work Shift

1 - First Shift

The Supply Chain Intern helps perform data collection and analysis to make sense of and draw conclusions from information buried in raw data. This position will require the ability to run basic queries from data warehouse reporting and other web-based tools.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  1. Demonstrate the Vermeer characteristics of caring culture, demonstrating agility, customer focused, and stewardship and model the associated behaviors.

  2. Compile data into established frameworks and analyze to identify patterns within data and opportunities to improve data quality. Leverage current information sources including databases, data and process models, business

    requirements and other artifacts to research and resolve issues.

    1. Partner with Demand Planner to analyze and compile statistical forecasting data for each Strategic Business Unit.

    2. Participate in the monthly 5 step Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning (SIOP) process.

    Education and/or Experience

  • High School diploma required.

  • Current student pursing a Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or Supply Chain.

  • Previous internship is a plus.

    Other Skills and Abilities

  • Strong analytical and cognitive skills.

    • Excellent interpersonal relationship building and team work skills.

    • Strong ability to manipulate large data sets and condense data into useful high value information.

  • Ability to produce accurate, professional and error-free documents in a timely manner.

  • Demonstration of good oral and written communication skills.

Work Location

ONSITE: A team member’s day-to-day work is best done on a Vermeer campus. If work content can be occasionally completed at an offsite location, discuss potential arrangements with your manager.
