Robert Half Accounting Analyst in Pembroke Pines, Florida

Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Accounting Analyst in Pembroke Pines, Florida, 33025, United States. This role involves various aspects of accounting and financial reporting within our industry.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately process invoices, payments, and receipts relating to accounts payable and receivable.

• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with standards.

• Conduct account reconciliation and resolve any discrepancies.

• Enter financial data into accounting systems with accuracy and efficiency.

• Assist in budget preparation by gathering data, forecasting expenses, and revenues.

• Perform variance analysis by comparing actual results to budgeted figures, identifying discrepancies, and explaining variances.

• Support the creation of financial forecasts by analyzing trends and predicting future financial performance.

• Understand cost drivers and assist in analyzing and controlling expenses to adhere to the budget.

• Generate budget reports and monitor budget adherence throughout the financial period.

• Conduct basic financial analysis to support decision-making.

• Ensure all financial data is accurate and errors are minimized.

• Identify issues within financial data and processes, suggest improvements.

• Use Accounting Software Systems, ADP - Financial Services, Ceridian, Concur, ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning, Accounting Functions, Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Auditing, and Billing Functions as needed. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Experience with ADP - Financial Services

• Familiarity with Ceridian software

• Knowledge of Concur accounting software

• Understanding of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning

• Ability to handle Accounting Functions effectively

• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Proficiency in Auditing

• Familiarity with Billing Functions
