Navy Federal Credit Union ETS Engineer II (Citrix) in Pensacola, Florida
Overview
To research, evaluate, design, implement, and maintain system and product solutions, applying knowledge of engineering principles. To provide technical direction and engineering support for projects and infrastructure relating to Citrix Platform. Develop and maintain working knowledge of evolving IT engineering industry technologies/competition, concepts and trends. Assist with troubleshooting of complex technical issues causing business impact or service degradation. Willingness to be a self-starter in a face paced technical team.
Responsibilities
Full life-cycle project management
Establish and lead project teams
Develop project plan/scope/schedule/cost/communications
Procure and/or manage resources/timelines/deadlines/quality
Risk, Issue and Change management
Ensure successful project implementation
Scope of responsibility
Responsible for monitoring, maintaining, operating and troubleshooting daily remote access technologies.
Improving and adjusting the Virtual Desktop system
Accountable for applying, implementing, maintaining, and examining the documentation of the Virtual Desktop Infrastructure.
Apply engineering principles into the design and enhancement of new and existing systems
Document new system components, or modifications to existing components
Perform engineering tasks and assignments in support of business needs
Perform engineering technology research, procurement, deployment, and configuration for new and modified systems
Present clear, organized and concise information to all audiences through a variety of media to enable effective business decisions
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Familiar with Citrix virtual applications and desktop experience. (Citrix Studio, Citrix Policies)
Familiar with Netscaler /networking experience (Netscaler policies)
Familiar with VMware
Familiar with ServiceNow request, incident, change, and asset management modules
Familiar with PowerShell
Familiar with SQL Server Management Studio and SQL query authoring
Familiar with Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager
Familiar with Group Policy Administration using GPOAdmin or equivalent
Knowledge of administering and troubleshooting Windows 10 and 11
Willingness to be a self-starter and eagerness to learn new technologies
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Information Technology or the equivalent combination of training, education, and experience
Effective database and presentation software skills
Effective organizational, planning and time management skills
Effective research, analytical, and problem solving skills
Effective skill exercising initiative and using good judgment to make sound decisions
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Effective word processing and spreadsheet software skills
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00AM - 4:30PM
