Analyze and deliver AI and Machine Learning solutions while maintaining high ethical standards. Education/Experience: Bachelors degree in Data Science, Computer science, Applied Mathematics, Physics, or Electrical Engineering with 2-4 years of experience OR Masters degree in Data Science, Computer science, Applied Mathematics, Physics, or Electrical Engineering with 1+ year of experience Required Skills/Competencies: Experience in generative AI techniques such as GANs and VAEs. Ability to stay updated with the latest advancements in generative AI research and incorporate them into work. Strong background in Machine Learning and Deep Learning algorithms. Proficient in Machine Learning packages such as TensorFlow, JAX, Keras, and/or PyTorch for developing AI models. Proficient with programming languages (Python, Matlab, R, or similar), relational databases (SQL server), data analysis and visualization software such as JMP, PowerBI. Integration of AI solutions with existing or new software systems. Ability to demonstrate understanding of the Software Development and Quality Lifecycles. Experience developing test scenarios/plans and documenting test cases. Have solid understanding of the machine learning model tradeoffs such as hyper-parameter tuning, regularization, cross-validation, skewness in data, dimensionality reduction, and complexity vs interpretability. Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills, comfortable to interpret data and modeling efforts to a large audience on a regular basis. Ability to take initiative and proactively engage with stakeholders and manage multi-faceted projects. Demonstrated results in developing and delivering customer-facing technical collateral. Ability to participate in video/conference calls with global team outside normal business hours. Manufacturing experience is a plus. Experience programming in C#/.NET is a plus. Knowledge of Windows Server environments and network architecture is a plus. Experienced with standard data science and machine learning packages such as Numpy, Pandas, Matplotlib, seaborn, plotly. Essential Responsibilities: Keep knowledge and skills up to date through exploration and learning on emerging Gen AI technologies and Industry 4.0 techniques. Assess Manufacturing functions and processes to find opportunities for improved productivity by integrating Gen AI, and Industry 4.0 solutions with current practices. Take ownership of data analysis, modeling, data quality, and feature engineering. Use tools such as Python, R, and Matlab to automate data analysis. Write and document reusable scripts with a mix of API's and packages. Advise business partners on technology, and policy issues associated with AI. Document and communicate the solutions architecture and lessons learned for each project or proof of concept exploration. Define success criteria of AI solutions and take ownership of meeting and exceeding success criteria. Work on all aspects of AI solutions, including functional and process design, flow mapping, prototyping, testing, and defining support procedures in collaboration with MES Software Engineers and business partners.
