Job Title: Warehouse Worker

Job Description

The majority of time will be spent picking and packing in the warehouse. The main duty is to help pack out job pack orders, ensuring everything is packed up correctly. You will load and unload shipments for the distribution center, help load up customers, help with job pack material, and assist with UPS pack outs. In addition to forklift operation, you will be handling boxes and moving pallets all day long, carrying out material.

Shift: 8-5

  • Safely operate the forklift/boom lift according to the methods and procedures described during training.
  • Safely handle pallets and load/unload customer vehicles according to branch-specific instructions and material handling methods described during training.
  • Safely load and unload commercial and company trucks, containers, and trailers according to branch-specific instructions and the methods and procedures described during training.
  • Pull the correct boxes for orders and transfers, stage or place the pulled boxes in the correct location, and handle the associated paperwork according to branch-specific procedures and methods described during training.

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 90 Day(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Pflugerville, Texas.

Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, you will be regularly exposed to outside weather conditions when loading trucks in the warehouse. Other than that, it is an indoor warehouse, not climate-controlled but has large fans to help cool. You will work with and in proximity to material handling equipment, including forklifts and cranes, as well as packaged electrical equipment. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
